Modular Coffee Tables model " Gli Scacchi " named after and inspired by the game of chess, is composed of three elements representing the Queen, the Knight and the Ruck.

Made of soft polyurethane, it's the first version signed C&B Italie (currently brand name B&B Italia).
Designed by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia, Italy 1971.
